It all started five decades ago, when Viktor Laneckij, the son of a cooper, began his journey in electrical engineering while serving in an engineering regiment. He later joined a Lviv-based company that serviced Lithuania's power plants.
We are a family-owned business with a history spanning over 50 years. It all began in 1968 when Viktor Laneckij, after training in electrical engineering, worked for a company maintaining Lithuania's power plants. After Lithuania gained independence, he started a business importing electrical equipment and later founded Autometrija and Elektroimpulsas.
His son, Jurij Laneckij, joined the company at the age of 16 and eventually led a division of 100 employees specializing in construction services. In 2015, we took a new step by rebranding the business as Engineer, with Jurij taking the helm. Meanwhile, Viktor, now retired, embraced barrel-making – a family craft that continues to delight clients on special occasions.
We are proud to work on projects that play a crucial role both nationally and internationally. One of the highlights of our portfolio is the design and construction of the new T4 terminal at Vilnius Airport, the most expensive project we’ve ever completed. The Continental factory in Kaunas LEZ is the largest greenfield investment in Lithuania. We spent four years designing every phase of the factory’s construction, and it is set to become the country’s biggest electricity consumer.
We continuously manage and expand large factories across various industries, with a combined turnover of several billion euros.We are also contributing to the development of the public EV charging network. Our largest EV charging station in Lithuania, located at the Akropolis shopping center, features 40 charging points and operates 24/7.
Additionally, we design and install smart controllers for reactive power compensation. These controllers are specifically tailored to Lithuania’s unique regulations, helping businesses achieve significant savings on electricity costs. In pilot projects, we have seen reductions of 97% in reactive power bills.
