Jonavos Grūdai is our long-term partner, where we are conducting ongoing automation reconstruction. In the spring of 2017, after two months of careful planning and intense preparation, our team completely reconstructed the 10kV substation and incoming switchboard of a massive grain elevator over the course of just one weekend, working non-stop.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was completing the full reconstruction of the incoming switchboard in an extremely short time frame, without disrupting the production processes.

Our approach

We focused heavily on the preparation phase: every step was carefully planned, potential risks and obstacles were identified, materials were prepared, and the team was trained. As a result, the process ran smoothly and according to plan, allowing us to complete a massive transformation in an extremely short time frame.

Results

We successfully completed the full reconstruction of the incoming switchboard: this included the complete overhaul of the relay control system, automation of production processes – such as the automation of flow distributors, unloading carts, and the integration of laser measurement devices.We are continuing our successful partnership with ongoing reconstruction of automation systems.
